I bought this as a female looking for something a little baggier. While cozying up in this sweater I decided to go for a hike with my pup. I was wandering down the trail when I heard some rustling in a tree above me. When I looked up I saw a poor song bird hanging by it’s wing from a branch, tied up in some fishing line.
I contacted wildlife rescue services, who, due to Covid19 were not out working as normal. They instructed me as to how to safely remove the bird from the tree, or trees in this case as it was strung between several. I got the bird down and the only thing I had to secure it for the trip to the executive rescue director’s home was this sweater. I wrapped it up listening to his poor chirps all the way there.
The bird was able to make it safely there, though he was bloody and hurt, and is now in Rehabilitation, hopefully soon to return to his forest home.
So for those of you looking for a sweater that can save lives, this is it.
Disclaimer: It may be spotted in blood though, and is not stain proof. Will need to replace.

Terrible persistant chemical smell that fills any room and effects sinuses. This chemical smell has not aired out with days hanging outside in the sunlight and breeze. Two quite stiff, neck tags with sharp corners that are not fabric and can only be entirely removed by cutting out the neck seam. Rough fabric. I used to buy Gildan sweatshirts at the Big Five sportswear and they were always excellent sweatshirts in every way, and under $10 with coupon. This terrible product might be from one of those companies that buy a brand name and exploit it with no concern for quality or useability. Another Gildan sweatshirt bought at the same time from a different Amazon vendor also has a persistant chemical smell but not quite as terrible.

Answer: These are true to size. Not a t shirt fit but if you want big and sloppy I??d go up a size.

Is the the Heaviest weight Gildan offers?
Answer: No this is not the heaviestt weight in fact it is thin I was very disappointed

I am a female 5’3″ weight 147 – will a male size large fit me??
Answer: It may be very roomy. I bought an extra large for my husband who is 6′ tall and 195 lbs and it fits perfectly.
