Is the color dark navy actually dark navy? it looks much lighter in the picture.
Answer: it is a dark navy blue. I bought these for my husband for his job and they loved the color they are looking into buying more to add their logo onto it.
Do these shirts run small? Should I order the next size up because shrinkage after being washed?

In my opinion they run true to size. My husband got one at Walmart and he wanted another color but they were out. So I ordered the same size and it got just as perfectly. When you wash them they keep color very well and always look soft yet not wrinkled, always ready to wear, sharp looking when out of the dryer. He lov??
can I have name tags sown onto shirt?
Answer: Yes. I bought a few of these shirts and I??ve put company logo and name patches sown on With no issues .
Are these as short as they appear?
Answer: I??m not sure how short they appear to you but I would say that mine reach about eight inches below my waist. They are quite comfortable to me at that length
Does the flex shirt pocket, pencil divider, allow you to put the pencil in the pocket with the pocket closed? Meaning, is there an opening at the top?

Answer: In a Dickies store near me they actually had long shirts which were a good 4 inches longer than the ones I buy
